Marushin nisai Kohaku, 45cm male. Light, open sandan pattern: a rounded head Hi, a single body plate set back from the shoulder, and a smaller step near the tail, all on lots of bright white. Open Kohaku like this let the white do half the work, and the shiroji here is clean. The Hi is well defined with tidy edges. An elegant, classic-looking male.
