Marushin sansai Doitsu Showa, 51cm male. Red covers the head and shoulder, with sumi breaking through on the head and patches of sumi set into the red plates down the back. The rear half carries more sumi over white, running into the tail section. The pectorals show sumi at the base. The doitsu skin is clean, so the plate and sumi edges read sharply. A dark, mature-looking Showa with the sumi well established at three years.
