Marushin nisai Doitsu Showa, 45cm. Hi sits on the head with sumi in it, and the rest of the body is mostly white with small red patches on the shoulder and back and a red mark near the tail. Sumi shows as greyish kage-zumi along the dorsal, still under the skin in places. The white ground is bright and clean, and the pectorals are white. With this much white it reads as a light, Kindai-style Showa. Worth watching how the back sumi firms up as the fish grows.
