Marushin nisai Showa, 48cm female. A big Hi plate covers the shoulders and runs onto the head, with sumi marking the side of the face. Behind it the back opens to white, with small red marks along the dorsal and a round red mark near the tail. Sumi is light at this stage, mostly on the head. The red is deep and even, and the white is clean. A Kohaku-like layout for now, and the head sumi is the Showa signature to watch develop.
