Marushin nisai Showa, 48cm. Red covers the head with sumi on it, and two big red bands cross the body with white between them. Sumi sits along the edges of the red and as blue-grey patches on the white toward the tail. The red is bright and the bands are bold. The scales show clearly on the white. A strongly banded Showa, and the sumi on the back half is still developing and should darken with time.
