Marushin nisai Koromo, 45cm male. A small mark sits on the head, then a very dark koromo plate covers the shoulders and back, with separate dark patches toward the tail. The overlay is heavy enough that the plates read almost black, close to a Sumi Goromo look. The white between the plates is clean. A dark, dramatic young male, and that deep overlay is the eye-catcher that will set him apart in a pond of brighter fish.
