Marushin nisai Koromo, 45cm female. A dark koromo plate covers the head and shoulder, a white band follows, then a long dark plate runs down the back to the tail. The overlay is heavy and gives a deep purple-black tone over the red. The white is clean between the plates and on the nose. A dark, bold Koromo with a simple two-part layout. The dense overlay gives her plenty of presence in the water.
