Marushin nisai Doitsu Showa, 45cm. Hi covers the head with sumi breaking through it on the face, then the body opens up to white. Sumi runs along the back as grey kage-zumi, still under the skin, with a few darker marks near the tail. There is little red behind the head, so the look is red head, white body and dark back markings. The white ground is clean. A Kindai-leaning young Showa, and the back sumi is the part to watch as it develops.
