The Isa Koi Farm comprises of some 60,000 square meters of mud ponds and also breeds a few Kohaku and Sanke.
His actual location is very easy to find, if you are travelling from Nagaoka towards Ojiya, by the main road, Hajime’s Koi farm is around 150 meters on the right-hand side of the road just before you reach the Ojiya railway station which is on the left-hand side of the road. However, there are no signs in English to signify the fact.
Hajime is the Past-President of the All-Japan Koi Breeders Society and has since retired from this position.
